LETS BE HUMAN AGAIN
The world is made of us, people. It is upto us , how we maintain this world. There is nature , there are animals and then we humans. As we have been growing in numbers , we have disturbed the order of the nature. We have been making other animals extinct, cutting down jungles, digging up mines . Yes this is what we have been repeatedly hearing from others, from tv personalities to environmentalists, from world leaders to school teachers. Then what we have done about it? Stopped using plastic? Started saving electricity? Stopped wasting food? What have we done till now?
Our entire landmass is divided into continents then countries then states , with different languages, cultures, food habits and customs. We have created our identities . Nothing new to be told about us. We all know what we are but sometimes we need to reflect, do we really want to be what we have become. Can’t all human beings on this entire planet be united with single identity that we call earth our home and stop hating each other on the basis of flawed localised identities. Because unless we don’t remove these difference from our minds , we can’t help our home to be a better place. We can’t do what we want to do to bring order to this planet. We have to be united to fight against global warming, wildfires, animal extinctions, overuse of natural resources, pollution in the seas and oceans , diseases, poverty, lack of education and healthcare.
Everyone wants a beautiful , prosperous and a peaceful life. Everyone wants food on their table, shelter over their head and clothes to wear. Nobody wants war in the name of religion , nobody wants discrimination in the name of false identifications based on religion, cast and place of living. Nobody wants hatred towards them because of their skin color, their food habits, their sexual orientation and their custom and practices.
This is not my lecture which you don’t want to hear, you know all this. You are a soul just like me being frustrated , the way the world has been working. It all has to change. That change has to come from us. We , who think and reflect that , till we have differences , the world will perish. Ofcourse there is a way. There is hope .
Let’s choose better leaders, who are not greedy or arrogant. Let’s remove that feeling from our minds about others which is negative. Let’s reach out do our bit for the good cause. Let’s use our knowledge and intellect. let’s use technology to solve our problems. Let’s be human again.
