Independent View on India China relations

They know so much about each other but still they don’t understand each other. They stay together but They fight and keep their issues unresolved. They depend on each other but still oppose each other. I wonder why this logjam and bottleneck when they could have some patience and some trust to become friends forever. China & India have been allies long before the world got involved into bipolar mindset. These giants co-existed happily with robust trade and cultural exchanges, dominated entire Asia together.

As these countries rise with knowledge, power , technology and human resources, they should start evaluating their views and political mindset. They should take steps for a sustained growth and a combined effort to tackle world problems and find new horizons of human civilization and prosperity. They shouldn’t be limited to geographical identities rather start considering inclusive growth with free trade and developmental activities beyond boundaries , leaving behind false ego and identities.

Amalgamation of entire Asia into one should be the vision , though its a long road but elimination of mistrust and addition of respect would make them trustworthy leaders to bring positive change in Asia and to the world.

A greater cause should be the driving force for China & India. Technology and space exploration are the key areas where both these countries should get involved more frequently. As the world is entering into 4th industrial revolution around information and AI , both India and China have greatest talent to bring innovation to work for betterment of its people and for Asia. Chinese firms should be encouraged to invest in India and India should take similar steps to invest in China’s projects on Infrastructure. SCO should accept other south Asian nations as well as countries from central and middle east Asia. Apart from BRICS summits , India and china should interact with each other on a regular basis at a highest leadership level to accept a evolving development plan.

More effort is needed for alternate energy sources , renewable energy and cut in carbon emission. Both China & India have started on the right path while committing to the renewable energy sources and producing clean energy. India should motivate and take help from China for the solar alliance and make it a global success. To reduce vehicular emission, more focus to be given on development of highly efficient electrical automotive , and China , India together should start producing more such transportation mechanism with new ideas and innovation.

For trade sustenance in a world of volatile trade protectionism, India should help China and vice versa. They are the two largest producing countries with huge markets. To protect Asian interest OPEC should allow oil exports and payments in Chinese RMB which will definitely reduce a huge burden and make markets more stable.

Major cooperation has to come for peace and elimination of terrorism through constructive ways than using force. While China and India flex muscle for their respective terrorism issues , they should also start supporting each other for peace. China has to trust India and stop evaluating India with the same measures with which it judges western nations. On the matter of regional cooperation China has to support India , stopping terrorists and their funding organizations. India should and must get support from China to become the permanent member of UNSC. While Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tibet are the critical flash points which needs developmental approach to eradicate economic and political issues . China and India both can help each other to stabilize the regions and gain trust.

China & India will be the leaders of 21st Century and for the centuries to come, if they play their cards well and trust each other as growing partners.
